Technically most enemies are somewhat stealthed even while on the move, according to this video: https://www.youtube....?v=5ML4oXjG6ag. Increasing your view range past the maximum detection range will definitely help with earlier detection of enemies who have a little bit of camo-factor that's deducting from your effective view range vs them.

Oh, and I also just found out that the AufK Panther can mount the Konisch. I'm suddenly immensely interested in it. One of my favorite weapons of WWII, really obscure, the tank mounted variant (Kwk) was never actually created and only a limited run of the conventional towed anti-tank version (Pak) was produced. But it was potentially one of the most powerful anti-tank guns of WWII.

Woah, thanks for that youtube video. Now I know why I always get shot after shooting from the bushes. I had no idea they disappeared for the enemy.

Back up so that the bush becomes opaque before firing. Got it.

Wish I would not have missed this. I got the gold, but I missed out on the garage slots.

So... with the 300 gold should I wait until they do another half off sale? What would you use the gold on if you only had 300? Also how come my tanks are outside? Where's my garage?

I use mine for demounting the very expensive equipment when I tier up a tank (i.e vert stab, gun rammer, etc). Another popular choice is to wait for a x5 weekend and use it for a premium day to get maximum use out of the x5 bonuses, they will probably have one Memorial Day weekend.

Yeah, x5s when coupled with the 1.5 multiplier from premium are just insane. Especially for helping crew advance. Can you just imagine, lets say you have a really nice 1000 XP battle, so x5 is 5,000 XP, then x1.5 for 7,500XP, then for one crewman if you have accelerated training on it becomes 15,000 XP for his skill progress, plus another 1,500 for 16,500 if you have Mentor skill at 100 on commander.

@Pixelorange - There's an event this weekend (starting May 10th) that includes 50% off garage slots, along with an assortment of other goodies.

I actually just found out that all WoT gold is transferrable to WoWP after it goes live, so I think I'm going to do that since WoWP is much more to my liking.

I also cannot wait for World of Battleships

UPDATE: Make sure you guys check out the http://forum.worldof...-wowp-contests/ section. Some of the contests they're running give up to 5,000 gold which will be deposited in your WoT account. As I mentioned earlier, you can use WoT gold on either game after WoWp goes live.

Couple of awesome games I had tonight.

They're running a tier 8-10 US heavies special for the second half of the month and paired with a premium account I just bought, I am actually PROFITABLE with my T110E5! I've been rocking this tank all week now, just for the hell of it, and loving it all the more because I almost never get to play it.

Actually made almost 60k on a match yesterday, complete with 8 kills and 2 medals, only 2.2k experience.

I also decided I wanted to see what the German E-series heavies played like so Im working my way up that tree right now. Currently have the Tiger H with top gun, engine, and tracks with a EGLD and I am almost to the point of hating this tank. I have the exact same gun on my Panther II and it just seems like such a better platform all around, I just hope that after I put a gun rammer and get the crew up to 100% on it that I'll start to do better.
