Nottingham is the Midlands you silly Londoner. Also coal mines are a Yorkshire thing, for us it's mile after mile of terraced houses and mills and depressingness.

My sister got her masters degree in York and everyone there got really upset with her for referring to it as "the north".

Frankly, I'd be more concerned about your west... Glasgow is like Leeds on a roid rage.

I'm fae Glasgow ya prick.

Don't insult the great Grey city. insult Edinburgh, no one likes Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is the one Scottish city I'd consider living in. It's beautiful and they host The Fringe there.

Except the University turned me down when I applied, so fuck 'em.

I'd like to go to Perth simply because the capitol of Western Australia is also Perth :P In fact a lot of places around the city are named after places in Scotland.

:) - I should never be allowed to go into the city. Things to buy, things I don't need!

Fixed for accuracy... America would probably overload you and short circuit your brain.

So excited, the rest of my halloween costume comes by Monday, literally everything was ordered yesterday and almost all of it is coming today.

Gotta love amazon shipping in less than 24 hours for free.

You're probably right. Images of cities like New York just boggle my mind. It's so... big and busy.

They are idiots then, it's further north than I am. Though Yorkshire does like to think of itself as a separate entity sometimes so that might have something to do with it.

The first half of this sentence is redundant.

I know a guy from Doncaster.

His voice makes me want to murder him with a hammer.

Why are all the Londoners moving north?

Family illness, unfortunately.

It'd have to be something serious though, right? There's not enough coal in the world to get me up there otherwise.

Rotherham isn't where I'd want to be moving to be honest. Also it's because London is taking in a large number of people I know.

Well, it's not actually all that bad (EDL marches aside), and it's not intended to be a permanent thing. Couple of years or so, probably.

Also, the rent seems so ridiculously cheap, and I'll have a garden! #justlondonerthings

I see what my friends pay to live in London and I simultaneously laugh and cry.
