The PlayStation VR is well and truly doomed! But did anyone notice?

They should have put "Press Subscribe to pay respects."

Got a PSVR for my dad as he turned 70 about a month ago. He's been in a wheelchair most of his life so he did not really care that most the experiences are "sitting down" experiences, but it did give him some really new cool stuff to experience. I think VR is worth more for the elderly and disabled than it is for anyone else. They have been trying it out on some homes for eldercare here in Sweden with great results for people who are confined to their bed.

I have been using a HTC Vive myself for about a year now, mostly been seeing it is a fun gimmick until they released Star Trek Bridge Crew. Now I am hooked.

I played Project Cars with Vive and being able to turn your head and look into turns is super helpful and immersive.

Now if I could only afford to own Vive myself...

Yeah, the cost is still very high. I got lucky with a lot of sick colleagues, so I did a few overtime nights and managed to afford it.
